When people want to find a local business or service they often use an internet search engine like Google. Urbanants is optimised for all the main search engines which means that your business will appear high up on the search results with a direct link to your listing on our website.
You can list your business for free once you've become a registered user of the urbanants site (that's free too!). What's more, you can then add events to your listing, encourage your customers to write reviews and rate their experiences of your service to help you receive feedback and gain new business.
Our basic listing is free and provides a lot more than most online and printed directories. We also provide enhanced listings to help you promote your business even more effectively. We don't believe in tying you in to long-term contracts or in upfront annual fees; just in giving you a host of features you won't find elsewhere. These include a facility for you to monitor how many people have viewed your infopage and contacted you via the website so you can ensure you're getting value for money.
Our Packages
Basic Listing - FreeThis package gives you a free listing which includes:
- All of your contact details
- An infopage (up to 500 characters) you write to promote your business
- The ability to update your infopage at any time - 24/7
- A direct link to your website
- The ability for customers to send you emails directly through the site
- Free calls for customers from their landline to yours via the website
- A facility to add events taking place at your business address
- Key data for you to monitor how people are using your listing.
This package gives you everything you get with the Basic Listing, plus:
- A photo
- A bigger infopage (up to 1,000 characters)
- More ways for your customers to contact you directly free of charge that you pay for as you go:
- your mobile from their landline or mobile - £1.50 per call
- your landline from their mobile - £1.50 per call
- your mobile from their mobile - £2.00 per call.
This package gives you full functionality and peace of mind with an all inclusive daily fee that equates to about £18 per month. You get everything on the Enhanced Listing, plus:
- A massive infopage (up to 5,000 characters)
- The ability for your customers to call you free of charge directly from the website wherever they or you are
- The opportunity to run special promotions with redeemable coupons that can be downloaded by urbanants users
- You can appear as a site sponsor
- And use your logo on the website.

Instructions for Setting up your Business
Please read all of the steps below before navigating away from this page.
Step 1: Register as a user
You need to be a registered user to make full use of urbanants. If you're already registered, see Step 2.
Step 2: List your business
If your business is not listed on the site you can set it up now by clicking on the button below. If it is already listed, type your business name into the search box at the top right of this page to go to it.
Step 3: Take ownership of your business
Once you've set up or visited your listing you can take ownership of it on your infopage. This requires us to verify your business phone number to check you are the business owner. Once you do this no-one but you will be able to edit the listing.
Step 4: Choose your package
You can do this by clicking on the link 'Choose/ change your package' on the right hand side of your business infopage. You need to be logged in to see this. You can also get there from the home page by clicking the relevant link under the heading Your Services/ Businesses. This heading will appear, whenever you're logged in, once you've taken ownership of your business.
Step 5: Access your package features
You can access all of the features available to your business depending on the package you're on. These appear on the right hand side of your info page or can be reached from Your Sevices/ Businesses on the home page. You need to be logged in to see these features.
